Thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts of love during this week.

To be clear of what is going on…

I now have an Implantable Cardiac Device. Some say pacemaker, others say defibrilator. I call it my ICD.

It is not going anywhere because it is my safety net. The next time my heart decides to beat irratically, it will receive a shock from the ICD to put it back in the right rhythm.

My family history has shown heart disease to be prevalent and even fatal.

I did not stand by this time as I said with my December 31 post, BE.

Going to the doctor when you know you are not right physically, emotionally, or spiritually is the best thing you can do for you. Nevermind the others you stand by your side as family and friends. If course, they want you here, but at times you have to do it for you.

With this life altering event, I have received such an outpouring of love and care that I didn’t know existed. You can’t really blame me as I didn’t pay attention to all the wonderful people around me. I wanted each of you to get what you needed, a smile, a laugh, a stern talking to, or simply a Hello.

Now, I will open my eyes and see you for who you are. I will be here.

If you are hurting, find the ones who can help you.

If you are sick find your doctor and tell them.

If you are hiding behind a wall of lies whether commission or omission, let them go and speak the truth.

The only thing it will do, is begin to heal you.

I am still here for at least one reason. Let’s find out together what that is. In the meantime, let’s find your reason and bless this world with our talents.
