A Visual History of Macy's Thanksgiving Parade
Does your family watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? We did for the first time this year. I like parades, but not the new stop-everything-sing-dance every 8 minutes. I also don't like the promos for movies and household products while the parade moves in the background. The promos drag out the parade to be 2-3 hours long. I'll all for long parades, but not with those interruptions.
My suggestion? Get back to the creative floats, talented marching bands, and spotlight the dedicated groups who are in the parade and what they represent and do in their community.
I find those commentaries much more interesting.
